Sucks to lose this one, but the only bright side is I dont think that people come away thinking SC is a fraud. Seems most the world thinks we got screwed.

I can be upset with the refs. I can be upset with some (not all) of the coaching calls.
I can't be upset about the way our guys played or the fans in the stadium.

and I think that the recruits today see that. Losing sucks when you host kids, but today was not one of those days where recruiting was hurt by it. They saw last year, and they see how this year has been. The momentum is still trending the right way
we just have to win one or two during the 4 game hard stretch in the middle of the year

I called mom and dad after dinner and mom made a comment that I hadn't thought of. She said rocket reminds her of Big George with his running style. I think she's right.

I know I've overdone it on the main board today. But I'm unapologetic, they got the win so they'll have to deal with us (me).
And I'm not done. Anyone got a link to the late hit out of bounds on rocket? Wanna keep this train rolling all week...

youre good. Its wild to me that they are sticking to "yall held on two of your touchdown runs" with ZERO video of it. We sure as held could post 10+ times that holding affected a play. Their LT held all game.
but when we have plays like the OPI (which also should have been DPI..nobody mentions that), The hit out of bounds, the BSB call, the false start call, the hands to the face on sellers, etc.... I see no way they can act like they didnt get the good end of the officiating.
Now the tiger fans that have admitted it and are happy they won...I have zero beef with. Respect. It's the ones that want to talk about all the calls they didnt get.

I was lucky enough to hang out with Rogers and be on the sidelines for some of his games( I was friends with Carlens son). Rocket doesn't run like George. George was one of a kind.

I mean...I am wrong often, so if thats how you feel that is fine.
I was not alive to see Rodgers run, but in the clips I see he just looks like he ran with large strides at all times. Rocket, a little like the backs I mentioned is able to run with choppier steps and sidestep tacklers. At the very least he changes where the contract hits him to deflect. George just looked like he was going to get up to full speed and run you over. If he made a move it appears in clips like he would step over and around you. I wish I could have seen it in person.

This pretty much sums it up.
I think what mom saw, and I agreed with is each of them had a heck of a burst and both play with a ton of heart. Neither one had/has any quit in them.

It's Rogers not Rodgers
I saw George take a pitch to the left and cut down field and jumped in the air, did a full 360 in the air going over a defender and landed, ran another 20yards and scored.
