Do you have any insight on the following?

1. Is Joke Benchley going to hit the bench next week?

2. Is Ray/Caslen ready to move on from chump?

I’d imagine if we start 1-3 OR lose next week, chump will he gone mid season.

I legitimately don’t see champ making it to the end of the season.

Have you forgotten who our AD is? He will probably get a bonus and extension for saying all the right things during the presser after the game.

I have zero insight whatsoever. All I know is that there are a lot of major donors who are livid right now and Ray Tanner's phone has been blowing up.

Certain members of the Board are expressing their righteous indignation privately as well and I know of at least three Gamecock Club chapter Presidents that are relaying their outrage and the outrage of their members to higher ups about what transpired yesterday.

I know a few members of the Board of Visitors who are also expressing their displeasure.

That's all I know but I will type this strictly as an observation. Too much blame is being laid on Bentley IMHO. The game I saw ... much of the blame lies in the trenches and with the coaching staff. 99% of it should be directed there. Bentley did some good things and some bad things but he was under duress the entire day. Our OLine sucks. Our defense sucks. Our coaching staff sucks.

Our one possible bright spot was on special teams and, even then, we missed a FG we should not have missed.

Bentley is the scape goat, and I get that because QBs normally are .... but our problems are much more insidious than Bentley.

Did you see the players “likes” on Twitter?

Ortre and Jaycee specifically likes tweets trashing Jake.

It seems clear they don’t believe in him

I don't have a Twitter account anymore for just that reason.

No matter what, his teammates should never ever do that IMHO friend.

Yeah.... but they did. And that means they don’t believe in him.

I have to think that the way the QB situation has been handled has soured them on him. He’s the product of nepotism. Scar killed it in the Mizzou game, jake starts against TAMU and lays an egg for 30 min. Scar never plays again.

I’m sure the players know Ryan or Dak are better but they won’t get their shot.

Champ needs to be a man and tell Bobby his son isn’t an nfl qb and will no longer be QB1 at SC

Bentley missing the wide open TD at the end of the game is why he is getting so much shite.

He overthrows so many passes.

His contract runs through 2024. He either leaves on his own, or we give him a settlement that would make Auburn cringe.

Then we gotta hire another guy for about the same money.

I think Muschamp will be here longer than Tanner - if he wants to be.

I must have missed that. I turned it off with 2:44 to go I think ... interception. That's the last thing I remember.

He's not a big time QB, that's for sure. He just doesn't have the "it" factor.

There are some very worrisome rumblings going on over there right now.

This loss feels a lot like the Citadel loss. A loss where the wheels just completely come off for a coach.

To be fair Jay Bateman is the UNC defensive coordinator and he is brilliant at bringing pressure from all over the field. The guy turned Army into a top 10 defense after all. If he continues his slow but steady climb up the ranks he's going to be Head Coach at a major school before too long.

Jake is basically Chris Rix. Shows raw potential as a freshman and never really improved his game from there. Doesn’t make anyone better, can’t really say he makes them much worse.

I feel bad for Joyner. We finally get one of the studs from Fort Dorchester who can make a difference for us and he hasn’t been given a real chance.

I think we’ll, well I hope, we’ll see a good dose of DJ7 Saturday too. Use the game Saturday to see who runs the offense better.
