My dream scenario

Satterfield gets canned and we replace him with newly available coach David Cutcliffe. In my mind even if only for 3-4 years it’s gets us this:
Positives
- an OC with not only prior head coaching experience, but SEC HC experience
- proven offensive acumen especially with lesser talent as proven at Duke
- Cutcliffe already has recruiting ties to the southeast and especially NC where we have lacked in recent recruiting cycles
- probably knows a better o line coach than the one we got now
Negatives
- age is a factor, at 69 years old not exactly a spring chicken but not a ghoul either
- the game has possibly passed him by, don’t have evidence to back that up but it’s a possibility with any coach with that long of a history
What do y’all think of this proposal, I’ll hang up and listen

seems like an immediate upgrade for our biggest need, but has a very long shot of actually happening

I'm thinking, subtly yet somehow against hope, that there's a backroom deal between Shane and Justin Fuente. Connections to VT, reduced responsibilities, no need to recruit (as Shane and assistants can carry more load), strong offensive mind, and Fuente gets to rebuild his rep for a few years before going back to a P5 school.

My dream scenario is Venables finally gets poached away to OU and Dabo gets exposed for the fraud he is.

Add in Elliott for good measure. Let the AD change throw some spice and error into the coordinator hires, and we could have us an entertaining Holiday Season watching the taters melt.

My dream scenario is the above happens and Dabo hires Muschamp to replace Venables...
