I know it's Western Carolina, but my god, is it so fricking hard to stay past half time?

When I was at USC, I was also eager to get back to the tailgate and hit on girls, but I knew the team fed off our energy and wanted to be in the stands no matter what.

Maybe I'm just being an old fart (I'm only 27), but we're not a team who blows out non-conference FCS opponents anymore, and our guys need all the support they can get.

Let me put it to you this way- there's a certain portion of the student population who didn't dress appropriately for an Arctic wind.

Okay. I guess that's a good excuse. It just looked really bad on TV

I forgot my jacket, but stayed till the end of the after spending the whole third quarter in the concourse. I was going to buy a hoodie, but there's no way in hell I'm spending $70 on something I already have at home.

And yeah having more than a half empty stadium after halftime never looks good no matter what

At least it was Western Carolina, not a back and forth game and not on TV unlike UT in 2014.

Although I understand people leaving both.

On the shuttle from the CLA to the fairgrounds I saw a co-ed wearing a bra like top and not much else so I would have to agree.

Unlike a lot of people I stayed for the whole game. Just wondering did anybody else who stayed get wind burn or is it just in my head?

Not a student, but for the first time in my life I left a game early tonight, so I am more than willing to give them a pass this game. I sat through 59-0, 63-17, even that God awful Papa John's bowl that was 27 degrees at kickoff, but I was not prepared for the insane constant blast of cold wind the entire game. When we got ready to head into the stadium it felt so good and with kickoff at 4 I decided to not take my hoodie. Monumental mistake! I made it into the 4th quarter, but the game was decided and I was tired of being cold.

I'm not sure if I got wind burn, but I had some serious shivers by the time I got back to the car.
