Can’t really see another option with these losses and our continued cellar dweller recruiting classes

Something has to change and unfortunately I don't see Frank willing to do that.
So who would we go after? Big name or a up and coming coach like Furman or Woffords coach?

With Ray's record? That shouldn't be hard to answer.

FM showed that it can be done here, but I'm not sure there would be many big name guys who would want to come here.

Honestly, what "big name" is out there?
it would have to be one not in basketball.
Pitino? (not a chance Ray hires him)
Tubby Smith (please no)
Jim Calhoun is around coaching somewhere (don't see that happening at all either)
It's gotta be the assistant coach at a smaller school approach.
We kinda lucked into Frank the last time since he had the falling out with the K State AD.
We gotta make a better hire this time around, not sure when it comes.

I think that was the perfect storm though.
Frank had a falling out with the K State AD and we had an opening.
I don't see any big names leaving a successful program for us. (at a p5 school)
It would have to be a bigger mid major name.

Mike Boynton?
That would be nice, would like to see another year with him at Okie State.
Lets see how he does this year went 21-15 last year but bad in conference kept them out of the dance.

Isn’t Wofford’s coach like 55-60? He looked older when we played them.

55 and been at Wofford since 2002, think he'll probably ride it out there?

Mike Dunleavy
But I like Frank. I'll be seeing him tomorrow afternoon.
Y'all watch for me on TV up at Michigan.

Does his son coach as well?
He was an excellent basketball player in college and had a nice NBA career.
Always one of my favorites in the league and in college.

Wofford coach seems content to me. Probably has 2-300 black and gold ties in the closet.

He's coaching at Tulane right now.

I know.
Talking about his son....The one that went to Duke, then played in the NBA
I’ve checked.
He’s a scout in the NBA right now

Damn, yall. Have some imagination. Dunleavy is old and so far over the hill in his career he can't even see it in the rear-view mirror.

He's not doing too well at Tulane either.

I say we just say the hell with it and give Coach K $15 million a year.
