Last I checked, Beamer has made 4 offensive staff hires. 2 of them having been on the 2019 Colo St staff and 0 who have ever coached at Oklahoma. Trust me, my biggest hope is that we hire Riley as Wr/Co-oc, tell Bobo he's around to coordinate the run game until his contract runs out, and then move forward with something exciting. I'm just skeptical that will actually happen with what we've seen so far.

As for my thoughts on Bobo changing his scheme to make any of us happy, I think if he was going to do that, he would have done it as HC at CSU, rather than getting fired. Him bringing his scheme, QB, and FB here for this season, further leads me to believe he's as open to innovative change and learning from his mistakes as Muschamp.

Hopefully Beamer will have the guts to keep Bobo in his place, bring in Riley, and get things going in a new direction. I can definitely see Beamer working out if he does the right things. He just hasn't impressed with the actual hires he's made yet.

2019 bobo offense outperformed hugh freeze, dan mullen, gus malzhan and jamey chadwell.

2018 same other than freeze who wasn't coaching.

2017 same plus whoever was at Bama at the time.

The fact that no one in the anti bobo train is willing to accept, and its your prerogative to be wrong, is that bobo has never parted ways with a team for inability on offense.

beamer coached at OU and addressed the fact that he's working with bobo on passing game and qb run game install. The real laugh here is that garrett and Lincoln don't even run the same version of the air raid. But again facts don't seem to matter.

When in this thread did I mention the triple option retard? Cool numbers, how many years did he have a winning record with that dazzling offense? I'm over Kiawah, you want to meet up at the sonic in Mount P when you finish up servicing Bobo's cock?

Mcclendon had more points per game his first year as OC (28.5) than CSU has 3/5 years under Bobo. Stats are great, they show Bobo is very effective at running his outdated offense.

Beamer is head coach so I'm sure he'll be working with Bobo, but he's still head coach. And he wasn't installing or calling plays at OK. He was TE coach, and hopefully learning the system. But if we were going to install OK's (and honestly I don't care whose specific passing attack we're shooting for, I just want to see us move to a pass oriented scheme) offense, why haven't we hired at least one coach from that (or a similar) staff? Why TN (and Bobos) OL coach and a local HS coach?

I'm cool if we can just admit we can't afford to fire Bobo so we keep him but install the pieces around him to take us where we want to go. It's not like Bama or clemson are running a name brand offense they copied from someone else, they brought in pieces to build something that kicks arse from scratch. That is what I thought when I first heard Beamer ball. We obviously weren't getting an established product, he was going to be the CEO overseeing the creation of something new. So far his pieces are Bobo and Kimrey, with Bobo head honcho. I'm sure we'll build great chemistry trying to change a man who has done the exact same thing the last 20 years, being a big figure from a powerhouse rival.

Just doesn't make sense to me, but hey, hopefully Lloyd and Harris will just run 1,000 yards each the next few years and we can worry about the next step after that.

Once the running game is blended with some of the Oklahoma passing game concepts will it still be dinosaur as you say?

When exactly did Bobo spend time under Lincoln Riley to learn his passing concepts? Where were these concepts last season? Where were these concepts during his incredibly successful tenor at Colorado State? We're bitching because there was 0 upgrading done.

Define a few years, define offense humming and lets get into a gentleman's wager. Cause I can assure you he won't do shite here.

"Meet me at the Sonic" is what we refer to as an inside joke on the Rant. When someone like you starts talking tough and throwing insults at people unprovoked, like you did me. The only thing I'm gonna do at the Sonic is get me a Reeses Peanut Butter Blast.

We get it, you love Mike Bobo. You want to sneak over in the middle of the night and jerk his golden cock off into a Solo cup and do god knows what with it. You hold onto your ideals and stats puddin. We'll just let this all play out. And when it does, I'll be right where I always am, being right.

Bobo actually did send three wide receivers from Colorado State to the NFL. Gallup and Higgins have carved out nice roles for themselves on their teams.

I get it’s disappointing but quit being a bitch about the Bobo being retained. There’s no denying our offense was improved this season and we only had one receiver worthy of a D1 scholarship

No thank you. I'll keep hating him until he's gone (which hopefully sooner rather than later). I genuinely don't like him more than ANY OTHER Coach we've had here in my memory (which goes bac 5 decades...) And that includes Fat Brad and Good Ole Sparky Woods.

I don't care how much he improved us statistically. He ruined our team dynamics/locker room (Hilinski was our leader last year and Bobo the clown threw him under the bus), got our coach fired (who was stupid enough to hire him in the first place). That, in turn, imploded our recruiting class. We should have left Bobo's butt in Lexington after the Kentucky game and let him thumb a ride home.

Can anyone honestly say we are in better shape NOW than before we fired Muschamp (and we weren't good under Muschamp). No. We can point it all back to Coach Bozo.

And yes, I held back on this post.

I'm quite familiar with the phrase me me at sonic given that we've been on this site essential the same amount of time. And I will stick to the stats, the numbers coming from where the game is actually played instead of your lil feelies that got upset when we hired an excellent play caller

Lol. You must live a truly miserable life to be this upset about an offensive coordinator being retained.

Not saying it'll work out great but he’s obviously better than Roper and McLendon. And it’s a done deal. Might as well wait and see instead of melting 24/7.
