You really think
Bryn Williams
Debo Samuel
Shi Smith
Hurst etc wouldn't have wanted to play for Leach? You really think Leach couldn't have done more with those guys than Muschamp? You serious Clark?

Kiffen has won at more than one place. And he had no problem coming in, sprinkling motivation dust on UT and winning games over night before "his recruits" even got in the door. Not to mention he kicked the shite out of Spurrier and Alabama needed a blocked field goal to win against him.

Its always been easy to bash Champ. He makes it easy on himself to do so. His ego is his downfall and when he gets the boot here he'll never get another HC shot.

Champ has sucked in his career outside of one 11 win season that he didn't even win the conference.
Leach and Kiffin probably wouldn't have won the SEC or had 11-12 win seasons, but they wouldn't do as bad as Muschamp has done.
who's 26-25 here with 2 losing seasons and a losing record all time with us in the SEC.

My guy, he was 5-15 in the NFL, 7-6 at UT, before being run off. He was 28-15 at So Cal, which isn’t really impressive.

Before FAU, Kiffin has one good season of 10-2. Nothing tells me he is going to be successful or would have been here.

To answer your question about Leach, who knows if they would, but his track record as a recruiter is well known; it’s not good. That team that Will inherited had little depth/talent.

They were also under ncaa sanctions and had like 55 scholarship players. He had the fans at Tennessee into it again (not saying it would have lasted) and they beat us and should have beat bama. He damn well would have brought some excitement here though he would have also probably left us high and dry .

he also wasn't run out of Tennessee.
He left for a better job.

That would have meant we were doing well though I like to think.
No way another team would have poached him if we were 5-7.

That’s fair.
But does that mean MSU is a better program than us?

If they are a better program why would they have to go after a first year hc with a losing record?

Well they have legal issues
I’m asking about the hypothetical with us.
If Lane was here and he was 5-7 and MSU came knocking. Would he answer?

Of course my answer is going to have some bias but I wouldn't see him leaving us, being an SEC school, surrounded by fertile recruiting states for MSU(assuming the 5-7 is his 1st year here).

I think current form MSU is a no/bad question anyway. Just because it seems like a major cleanup.
They look like they're going to be in a lot of trouble, and he'd be paid similar (so wouldn't be a pay upgrade)
