Nothing here in smoggy SLC.

Which is too bad. We could use the drinking water next summer.

I flew into SLC during the buttfrickery that was my trip to the final four. Other than seeing the Rockies for the first time, the thing that stuck out most to me about the airport was being astonished at seeing a Popeyes in what I assume is a majority Caucasian locale.

Was it just me or does Phoenix have one of the most underwhelming airports ever?

not just you. It sucks. Almost as bad as the percentage of architecture that is made up of cinder blocks in the greater Phoenix area.

We literally had about 10 minutes of light snow downtown Columbia-- small, fine flakes. Kid you not, the sky is now clearing to the west. Bring on the Springtime.

Waiting for my flight back here. There was one f'n bar.

I know people bitch and moan about JFK, LGA and EWR being crowded busy etc. Atleast we have ample places to drink!

I hate to break it to you, but it's the Wasatch range, not technically the Rockies. Not to get too technical, The current Rocky Mountains were raised in the Laramide orogeny from between 80 and 55 Ma during the late Cretaceous to early Tertiary period. The Wasatch began it's uplift by normal faulting during the Miocene (24 MYA). The uplift continues today. But there's still some debate if they constitute the Western edge of the Rockies, or the eastern edge of the basin and range province. Either way, I'm sure it's more geology that your wanted on a Wed...

And there's a Popeyes in the SLC airport? Who knew??

I believe my exact quote when I took a video of it for social media like the millenial I am was: "there hasn't been a black guy in SLC since Karl Malone."

Carl still lives here if I'm not mistaken. But as Dave Chapelle says, Who doesn't love fried chicken? It's delicious.

With Chic-fil-a, zaxby's and Popeye's here my wife and I have often kicked around the idea of trying to get the first Bojangles franchise west of the Mississippi out here.

This is fricking hilarious, y'all...mainly bc it's very close to exactly how we act down here when they even mention the possibility of snow.

I never understood why people go nuts to get milk and bread?

Yesterday im going to the grocery store, people running out getting milk and bread.

Not sure what that infatuation is with milk and bread
