I'll be across Gervais street with a "Dicks out for Harambe" poster. It'll distract them for a while.

Just curious, what other sorts of events are held on the Statehouse grounds?
And if this is true it's only because the mayor offered it to them again. Why would that happen if there truly were upset people?

KKK Rallys, Confederate Flag Protests (against and for), Donald Trump Protests (against and for) etc.

BECAUSE THE MAYOR IS A TATER

And you're angry that some very polite and congenial people are going to practice saying "Gig em Aggies" "Whoop" and "Farmers Fight!" there?

Hold the phone... one of your cheers is seriously "Farmers Fight"?
It's like playing 2 Clemsons every year. We got trolled hard.

The A&M used to stand for Agriculture & Mechanical, so yes we still are the leader in Ag science and related education

if you Texans really wanna see how a yell practice is done bring a cardboard cutout of USC's OL coach Shawn Elliott to the Statehouse grounds and enjoy the show. Gamecock fans in attendance will be anything but polite & congenial in expressing our opinions about another one of his under-performing OL in his now 7th year at Carolina.

To me, seems like the fat kid in HS that always got picked on and never laid.
Yea he made the football team but that's because he had been 6-5 270 lbs by the time he was 14.

Statehouse stuff ... politics and government and history related stuff.
It is hallowed ground ... like the grass in front of your student union center. It's not for nonsense.

Our mayor is a fricking taterhead. Our governor is a fricking taterhead. A partner in the largest lawfirm in Columbia is an Aggie and I believe still the president of the local chapter here ... lives across the lake in Chapin. Nikki Haley is good friends with Rick Perry ... so is the lawyer here. They pulled strings.
Plus Ray Tanner did not do what he promised he was going to do ... he did not contest it. He told everyone of the chapters presidents or the Gamecock Club that he would be having a discussion with Halley about it and he didn't keep his word. A lot of key boosters are not happy about it nor are a lot of our fans. Matter of fact, a lot of citizens of this state are.not happy about it ... fans of other programs in the states citizens who could care less about football, et al.
It's just not cool.
If we did it to your student union center you would be outraged ... but Gamecock fans have too much class to do something like this.
There are many other better, more appropriate, places and we might even come out and have fun with y'all at any of those places ... but this is wrong.
