I should have saved a couple posts for this in the 2019 recruiting thread. Maybe ATL can edit his post with this info? These are players that we either: a)at least share the lead in current crystal balls or b) have expressed serious interest in the program.
2019 Wishlist
QB
There are 2 names that come up more often than any others. Sam Howell and Garret Shrader. Howell has picked up heavy interest from a lot of programs, however, Shrader seems to be the QB we have more interest in. He's the 1st guy Werner contacted when he got here. Word is, the staff feels both QBs are of the same talent/projection level and when QB is involved, tie goes to the taller guy which is Shrader.
RB
In total pipe dream news, there's Quavaris Crouch. 5* #2 RB in the nation. Technically we do have 50% of the CBs right now because we have one and Clemson has the other. The story here is really that Crouch hasn't written us off, but he will absolutely be watching this years RB production closely as we haven't had much over the past couple years.
The RB that has gotten the most talk in this next cycle is in state guy 3* Michel Dukes. He is a 2 sport athlete, also plays Bball, and is more of a quick shifty type back. He does have offers from Arky and UNC, 8 total.

No way we get Crouch? He's headed to UGA or sheephumperville?

I'm not as big/following recruiting as I did in my younger years.
But had to look that guy up.
(crouch)
Dude looks like if Yachty and Uzi had a baby.

He does have a good relationship with Bobby but we need to take a major step forward in RB production. Our leading rusher last year had <600 yards for God's sake. I don't think it is outside the realm of possibility, but UGA's RB coach was the #1 recruiter in the nation last year for a reason.

We definitely need to sign one more good one (RB) in this next class. 2020 we'll go back to signing two ... unless we have a couple of 5*s fall in our lap in this next class of course.
We have got to sign four OLinemen a year ... and the same goes for DLinemen, if not five.
This next class is going to have at least four, possibly five, LBs in it ... or so I've been told.
Boom wants another four DBs.
Two WRs minimum in the next class, possibly three depending on who's available.

Another note on Crouch is he is debating on playing LB in college due to position longevity in the NFL...Clemson is recruiting him as a lb...we are recruitinghim as a rb.

Guess we need to change our approach?
One thing I think we've learned about mUSChamp. He trusts his instincts and he doesn't budge a whole lot ... doesn't seem to rely too much on star rankings. Believes in character as much as anything and is big on family background.
He doesn't waste schollies either.
I'm starting to really respect his methodology. We've never had a recruiter like him before.
Now we've just gotta get Lance living-up to potential ... or else.

You getting some feedback on lance? Is this a put up or shut year for him...i was a huge fan of what he did with the dl this year

Might be just from a recruiting aspect. I was also pleased with his coaching on the field but our defensive line class this year was disappointing.

A little ... it's vague but it's along the lines of, if you'll commit to us in a big way, get it in gear recruiting and quit entertaining lateral moves ... we'll commit to you in a big way.
No more classes where we basically miss on nine DLine prospects.

I'll put together my wishlist if 25 here soon...as of now we can sign 20 but I expect some attrition

There may not be a lot of attrition this year. Depends on how spring goes for one OLineman and one DLineman in particular ... after that it's all about injuries.

I assume pellage is the olineman and the Salman I'm not 100 on...

Is Josh Kendall doing an expose' on finding Dabo and Kirby Smart in bed together asking too much?
Posted on 2/12/18 at 5:37 pm to Lonnie Utah
Don't care if two men want to love each other, but I do want an expose on NewSpring.

So...does Dabos mom get middle? Or is it Dabo that's the cream?

I apologize for being lax with this. The 3 week old is going through a growth spurt and that lil shite is eating every other hour. I'll see if I can get some stuff done later today.
