My one “run in” with an ECU grad was when I was still in Charlotte
His dad was a big MD on the structured notes side so we basically gave him a job (how his dad didn’t help him get into NC State or literally any other NC school other than UNC/Duke/Wake still confuses me)
He came to the interview 3 years out of college with the his time being a bartender and waiter out of college and a marketing major.
He was hired but put in a very monotonous/minuscule role known as “settlements” it’s basically a group that became so mindless we outsourced it to India for like 1/16th the salary of an American.
But this kids dad was that high he got in. Maybe he would make a move? Surprise people?
Nope. 3 years in settlements as the only person in the group with the rest his counterparts in India.
Finally left to become a “finance recruiter” hits me up every now and then for some great roles he’s got working back office for banks in Jacksonville or Salt Lake City

We like to talk shite about Clemson UNC etc but realistically they ain’t bad
(The people/universities)

The fact that I will, and do, call out fellow Gamecocks and the fact that you're requesting that I do it now pretty much confirms that you do not consider me as Gamecock family nor a true Southerner.
And you could not be more wrong on both accounts. Being honest does not disqualify me as either.
