Muschamp and staff can flat our recruit, this is an amazing month of recruiting for us. If we can seal up Sam Bruce too, it's going to be an epic WR class.

Watched a few minutes of the game, and saw one play that targeted Bruce. It was an overthrown WR screen that Bruce snagged. He is a little guy, but he can jump and has some major shake to him. Reminded me of Speedy Noil at aTm.

From what I understand a lot of credit goes to McIlwain too ... he's doing his part by phone, letters, emails, tweets. Sending postcards to his buddies, all sorts of stuff.

Yep, Bruce is flat out fast and he has ELITE level elusiveness. He can already cut and move like Ace Sanders did his 3rd year here. He would be another guy I would expect to crack the 2 Deep year 1. I would also give him a look at starting PR or KR day 1.

Bruce is a heavy miami lean (where he is currently committed,) it is going to take some magic to flip him. However, that OV can only help us. If he wasn't seriously considering SC, he wouldn't waste an OV on us.
JayVaugh Myers we have a real shot at, moreso than his brother or Bruce. It's not a given that he and his brother go to the same school, they'll both OV here on the 22nd and we'll see what happens.

This is a good way to hype and 3*'s choice, that's for sure. I bet kentucky already cleared him for early enrollment, since he was committed for months this fall. I don't know for sure if we've done the same thing.

Under our new system, and thanks to Spurrier ... we can literally clear someone for early enrollment in 48 hours these days. We're very proactive in that regard ... I know two of the people involved personally and they are good at what they do.
Not sure that will make a difference with this kid, but we are in much better shape in that regard than we were pre-Spurrier. He laid the law down on that one.

he was committed for 2 days. Now he doesn't know if he's going to EE.
He's still listing us as "Favorite' on 247, so we'll see what comes of all this. I'm wondering now if he got all his paperwork in to EE this semester? He hasn't OV'd anywhere either, that I can see. If he ends up not being an EE, he can still OV here on the 15th. Jan 19th is the add/drop date for the semester, but that's only if he's allowed special enrollment.
