3* DT Kyree Campbell has renewed interest in SC. He is a unc commit, his mama really likes that school, but Muschamp was trying to flip him to auburn this fall. His offer list is legit and bama is still contacting him as well, he says. He said he's going to OV to SC this January.

I've seen BAW doing a lot of recruiting as well.
Lots of old and current Gamecocks have been hitting recruits up hard on twitter encouraging them to come to USC.
Great to see both old and current doing that...speaks volumes for our program.

Yep ... he was a Butler JuCo transfer if I remember correctly. Played for Dallas, Arizona, New Orleans, Cincy, Cleveland and KC. The epitome of a journeyman.

What is a "CB" if I may ask? I keep seeing it but cannot make heads nor tails of it - it does not compute in my nugget.

On 247 sports, there are several journalists and some players even who can make a "crystal ball" prediction as to where a recruit ends up. a CB (crystal ball) is just a prediction made public on 247 by someone.

So a CB is someone "in the know" making a prediction that a certain prospect will be signing with a certain program?
How often do they get it right? How does it work, off percentages?

Depends on who's making the prediction. People can make them whenever they want. If you go to a recruit's page on 247, it'll show a percentage breakdown of the CB's a player has received for each school. I believe they only show the top 3 schools that are predicted. Many only have 1 or 2 schools shown though.

That's pretty neat ... judging by that and reading the predictors and all it looks like most of them make calls to the kids or something.
I hope some of them are wrong though. Not too many people CBing some kids I really hope we sign.
