And I don't disagree with this either. I always wondered why total cases is ever even reported at all. If there were any number I have the slightest interest in, it is the number of daily deaths and number of hospitalizations/ICU admissions.
Just reporting a number is meaningless. A frat house knowing which members have the virus is not newsworthy but is not meaningless. It allowed us to get my father in law out of the house.

Make it whoever you want and whatever you want. The point is sometimes, yeah, you don't get tested until you show symptoms. Other times you don't wait to get tested.
