People were up in arms when the team protested under GP, many calling for his head or at least saying he wouldn't survive it (little did we know about his cancer at the time). So is anyone hearing any rumblings about Drink after his team boycotted?

Wondering if not, why not? Because it didn't involve threatening to sit out a game? Because, though both involve perceived racial injustice, this time didn't involve a fraud on campus?

Probably because literally everyone is doing the same thing and it didn’t happen in season.

Anybody wanting GP fired was dumb. He was in a no win situation

Drink is far more savvy about social issues and otherwise than GP (much as I like him) or Odom.

They skipped a Friday's workouts in protest. Protest/boycott/whatever label.

I think it's a different situation and a different climate. Hard to call for Drink's head when Saban is leading his team down the street.

Good info. I had just donated a few weeks ago for the first time since the last SJW debacle. This was recent enough I had no issues calling the TSF and getting my money back.

Thank you for your help!

And no, they should not shut everything down because of 4 positive tests. Having said that, what's the hang up with getting a test? I still just don't understand that unless politics enter debate. My kids have a sore throat, they get a strep test so we know what it is. My wife missed her period, she had a pregnancy test so we knew what was going on. I don't get the hang up with testing. I get the hang up about the reaction to 4 positive test, but not the tests themselves. I doubt I'll get a serious response, but man would I love one.

The response to the testing is the problem.

My friend snapped a picture of the Jefferson County paper. The inside was “Covid cases as schools open up.” There were like 6 cases at two high schools. That was the entire second page of the paper.

The entire third page of the paper was a story about a police officer that tested positive.

I’ll assume your wife’s pregnancy test and kid’s strep tests weren’t in the paper.

testing sick people makes sense. testing people who are not sick (asymptomatic) doesn't make any sense. People who are not sick are not significant risks to anyone.

If I ever have a major heart attack I sure hope it's the asymptomatic kind

You do realize a heart attack is a symptom, right?

Ah. So you don't understand what the word means. Now I see why your posts a don't make any sense.

You have sex with a gal that ends up testing postive for AIDS. You gonna go get tested? Or you gonna wait until you start showing symptoms?
