Quotes that didn't Age Well for $1000 Alex..
They're gonna have to rename alot of stuff that's named after him. Grady Hospital. Grady County.
quote:
Grady's conception of the New South was based on the social supremacy of whites over blacks. Grady stated in 1888: "the supremacy of the white race of the South must be maintained forever, and the domination of the negro race resisted at all points and at all hazards, because the white race is the superior race... [This declaration] shall run forever with the blood that feeds Anglo-Saxon hearts".[2]

You're just pandering to the lowest common denominator. Changing names and removing statues doesn't do anything but further solidify the beliefs of people they are trying to silence. Look at what happened to Russia after they tore down all of the Soviet era statues in the early nineties. Now the nation is run by a KGB agent. That didn't work out the way they planned it.

If they start this crap there is no end in sight. Just about every county in Georgia, named after an individual, will have to be renamed. When will it ever end???

I'd be okay with the Lewis Grizzard School of Journalism

Do we know for sure the next person named did not do anything bad in their entire life. Even if it was common at the time they did it?

Can't it just be named "The UGA Journalism School" ?
