Ewers said to be #1 for his class.

But watch for the name "Kade Klubnik"

Just won Texas 6A. I would take him over Ewers.

I think Robertson is in the top 3.

Half the SEC has already offered Cade before you guys did today. I would say he’s not a secret around here. I think what’s more surprising is that it took Jimbo that long to offer a legacy.

Jimbo takes his time with the offers - didn't offer King until much later. Kid is either going to Texas or A&M. His entire family is A&M, and the uncle just opened an account on TexAgs.

Still Westlake is in Austin so you never know ...

As far as Weigman is concerned he's waiting on the A&M offer, but baseball is a concern. I expect he will be offered this week or next. We also have an offer out to Ty Simpson like the rest of the World, and Ewers would never go to A&M ...

It will be interesting to see how it all falls out for the QB position

Not if you go by the rating and numbers, but he's definitely up there. Kid has nice highlights

Once Robertson committed to MSU, his rating was stalled (happens a lot with our cruits) but we're used to it. If he had committed to LSU or Texas, he'd be a 97 by now, or even higher. He could be the top pro-style QB out of Texas. He has by far the most yards as well.

The top pro-style QB out of Texas is without a doubt Ewers. I hate that, because A&M has zero shot at him, but the kid is as advertised. He's going to be a terror at tOSU.

Robertson's film is good, but then again I have only seen his highlights - I think Leach got a good one. I know all about the inflating of recruits, because we've (A&M) watched the horn recruits shoot up the rankings for no reason at all for years on end. That is why I personally do not believe Texas is as "talented" as advertised.

It's why they get whipped by OU each year despite "better talent". Is it truly better?

All of the guys we are discussing are 2022 - is Robertson?

We had a guy's rating go down less than 24hrs after committing..just in this class. Happens every year though.

Of course you would because Ewers would never look at A&M

You should have kept reading . . . that was made clear in subsequent posts. I can't say the family made a bad choice given Ewers is a somewhat plodding drop back QB with a massive cannon of an arm and Jimbo is infatuated with highly mobile dual threats.

Some recruits in Texas naturally don't like A&M. And some naturally don't like Texas either. Ewers is talented, but the first type. We offered him, and he didn't care

Doesn't mean the kid isn't talented.

Show is nice to have a top QB Recruit. Even nicer when he is the National High School Quarterback Of The Year.

Looks like that is the top QB that Bama is targeting. I think it'll come down to a Bama or Clemson battle for him in the end, but we'll see.

Agreed about Ty Simpson - think it is Clemson as heir to the kid who's name I cannot pronounce. However Simpson is in touch with our 2022 class, and those expected to be a part of it.

Still, I think A&M will get one of the Texas QB's and Texas will get the other or some QB they are targeting in CA. I expect a focus on CA at Stark's old stomping grounds from Texas
