Football or basketball, turnovers can kill you.

That call before the half was flat demoralizing. I know you're supposed to pick shite back up and keep going but that was rough.

Gran is going to have to accept that we're a running team. Period. We have the talent for it and the line for it. Terry Wilson will be just fine as a game manager and honestly that's essentially what he did with Snell. He had some nice short routes, especially to Rose in the flat, that would be enough of a pass game to keep a defense honest and out of the box. I DGAF if we dink and dunk teams to death as long as we win.

It was like Gran decided to put the game on Terry's shoulders. That is not our bread and butter. Have Terry scramble or keep on a read option and mix in an occasional down field pass but what was that Saturday? The two yard completions?

That call was horrible sure. But they got deflated too. Our first two possessions after halftime were horrible. Why did we quit tossing it to Rose? What happened to the read in read option? Eddie Gran outsmarts himself way too often.

It is what it is. Hopefully Gran learns from this and all the dumbness was gotten rid of in this game.

Somehow though I imagine it will continue

The call to throw it on 3rd and 1 on the goal line was pretty bad. It hurts me a bit to see Terry get put in that position because then the ire falls back on him when he fricks up.

I get wanting to get Terry some reps in live competition. But it doesn't do us any good to put him in bad positions. If anything, it's going to hurt him going forward. Accept his limitations and focus the offense around the run.
