Does he beat Baylor?
Does he get a signature upset SEC win and if so, who? (Signature SEC upset win would be Auburn, LSU, Bama, Florida, and I guess A&M).
Luke beat Vandy, Arky and MSU so let’s leave those out.

Look our program is running in Windows safe mode. Every time I control alt delete, I get a picture of Rosebowl on my screen that won’t go away:

One thing I am going to say is if he does well at Ole Miss. then he might bolt for a better football program. Likely South Carolina or one in the ACC.

USC, Sr fires Helton and rolls out the tarmac for Lane

Jarrian Jones with two picks...Fabien Lovett with 8.5 sacks
Two best Defensive Players to suit up for OM in 15 years...
MSU leftovers
27-48 Baylor

Might beat Baylor. I think Baylor lost a ton of production from last season.
Signature win? Maybe Auburn since it's in Oxford.
OM won't beat State, even in Oxford.

This was one year we desperately needed spring practice
I just don’t know wtf we do at quarterback, but we’ve got to get the ball in Plumlee’s hands 15-20 times a game. We just have to.
I’ve lost all faith in Corral. I think he just has a loser mentality
Secretly hoping Tisdale steps up and wins the job

I think they have a good chance of beating Baylor. Aranda has a bigger rebuild to do than you'd think for a team that just went to the Sugar Bowl. Ole Miss on the other hand was young last year and return enough talent on offense to be decent right away. But it's also Ole Miss so who know what to expect. I'd say that game is a true toss-up right now.
If they're going to upset somebody I think it will be Auburn, but I'm not sure I expect that to happen.
I think 5-7 is probably the worst case scenario for them. The non-con schedule is easier this year with three games you feel like you should definitely win, and at this stage you have to feel like Vandy and Arkansas are games you should win. That leaves you with true toss up games against Baylor and State to get to 6 or 7. My gut says they split those games and go 6-6, but it wouldn't shock me if they went 0-2 or 2-0.
Luke was not a good coach but he didn't leave behind that bad of a situation for Kiffin. I think they'll be solid offensively, the question is more about defense. I feel like McIntyre got the most out of last year's group that he could've possibly gotten, can the new DC's match that? The two State transfers probably aren't going to light the world on fire but they are still upgrades in talent from what OM has had. Lovett was a pretty good player for State last year, Jones got picked on at times but he was also thrown into the fire some as a true freshman.
They'll be better but not drastically better. Should be in bowl contention though.

Beating Vandy, Ark, and maybe 1 of MSU, Auburn, or AM would be a pretty good season for a new coach at OM. Im hoping MSU wins over OM though as I do think we’ll have a better team than them this season.
