That position cannot be understated. Patrick Suddes leaving Auburn to come back to ATL and GT was probably the biggest thing for recruiting at GT since Collins was hired.

We're making changes more than anything else.

What we've been told is Drew was not a fan of Pruitt and wanted out.

From what I understand he was not happy with the influence some other staffers had on the evaluation process and it was either going to be them or him moving on and Pruitt made his choice and so did Drew.

So mutual departure. It's not surprising given the other moves. We're clearly gearing up for a more aggressive recruiting strategy and he may not have wanted to be a part of all that entails.

Whatever the case may be, we are happy to have him. The guy that we had until yesterday went to Ole Miss. Muschamp wasted no time replacing him and it was an upgrade.

Yeah I would say both sides are probably getting what they want. I think Hughes is pretty well respected so it’s a good hire for SC. A lot of qualified candidates for this job, I am really hoping Pruitt doesn’t promote from within with the candidate pool out there.

Is there any consensus on his replacement from Miss St, Andrew Warsaw? Looks like a nice mix of NCAA & NFL experience, but that position is a bit obscure for the every day fan from my experience. I had no idea who Drew Hughes was prior to this thread being created.

Edit: Disregard. I just realized that Warsaw was hired as The Director of Football Ops & not Director of PP

Rocker is very good hire too. We just needed him to recruit more.

We're basically donating our worn clothing to the Goodwill as we are looking to update the wardrobe.

Going after LSU's RB coach Tommy Robinson now.

RB coach and Assoc. HC Tommie Robinson will interview with Muschamp tomorrow for the RB position at South Carolina. I've been told a 2 year contract up to $750k could be offered.

Hired Tracy Rocker earlier today as well.

Can’t imagine caring about some dweeb staffer who can’t even check a database to confirm that Jay Hardy’s NLI was sent to Auburn

I believe OP said recently that he is Drew Hughes' cousin or family member? I can't imagine any other reason as to why an Alabama fan would make a thread regarding an off the field personnel change @ UT who most Tennessee fans aren't even aware of.

Yea he’s my cousin, he started as a GA at Bama. He’s one of the best in SEC. He has jumped from Bama, to UCF, to NC State, to Florida, to Tennessee and now to USC. I think he’ll end up back Bama after Saban leaves. I would probably say that he doesn’t agree with cheating and this is why he hasn’t been back to Bama already. Could be a bad guess, but he’s always been a nice guy and I don’t see him being willing to cheat.

I certainly hope Pruitt is cheating at Saban levels.

That will get us turned around pretty quick.
