Don't know how many of you listen to his conversations with the press or follow him on Twitter, but the dude is a true leader. Hard worker, well educated, great attitude, head screwed on straight. We are lucky to have a leader like him on campus and I think if this team continues to out punch it's weight, it will largely be because of him

Yeah this team would be really struggling without him.

Reminds me of guys like Lenzie Howell back in the day. Great guy to have around for so many reasons.

Definitely one of my favorites and an unsung hero from that team of future NBA talent in Day, Mayberry and Miller

Very wise and mature young man. His parents should be proud.

Since the 1992-93 season, only nine different guards have averaged more than 15 points per game without hitting a 3-pointer. Whitt is one of those players, according to HogStats.com, and he is the only player since 1993 to accomplish the feat in a power conference. This season, Whitt is averaging 15.3 points per contest thanks to the help of his deadly mid-range shot on 53.0 percent shooting. He is 0 of 1 from 3-point range through 19 games.

And that one was thrown up at the end of a half with about .5 of a second left
