How awkward is it going to be when Dabo comes to Bama?

I hope Saban has another 5 in him at least.

I think we're to the point where the majority of the fanbase would hate bringing Dabo on board.

Dabo can be a lifer at Clemson in a watered down ACC
Would not be shocked if he entertained a shot at NFL one day

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Dabo could not replicate what Saban built at Bama. He has crushed recruiting for several years now and aside from the weak arse schedule they’ve been able to dominate, they got exposed in this year’s playoffs.

Dabo can't come to Bama. His entire "poor little ole us" aw gee shucks shtick wouldn't work there.

He would never be worshipped at Alabama the way he is worshipped at Clemson. He made Clemson someone when they were a footnote from the early 80’s. If he leaves, he’s crazy.

Dabo's not NFL material. All that rah-rah shite won't get you anything but blank stares up there...they psyche themselves and each other. His personality projects an immaturity that most NFL players would have a hard time respecting.

I think Alabama needs a coach with a bit of an edge like Saban has. The “ah shucks, gee whiz, golly gee, such a shame someone had to lose” thing would be rejected by the fan base and be antithetical to the culture Saban has built.

Bama is waaaaaaaaay too good for Dabo. He belongs over there with that pathetic whoa is me fanbase. He created that culture and it has no place in Tuscaloosa.

Could you visualize Dabo on the Bama sidelines jumping around grinning like the kings mad jester because they made a field goal? Well, actually Saban might do that with y’all’s field goal problems!
In any case it doesn’t appear to be a good fit.

Dabo has beaten Bama in the NC game twice.

He is scared to coach in the SEC......would rather stay in the middle-school conference.

That Harry High School routine will not work in the NFL.
