So, if Bama tanked for Tua by letting him stay out until the post-season and ended up losing to:
LSU
Miss St (ok.. just kidding
-- no way they would lose to State even with 3rd stringer in )
Auburn
I swear some of you really believe that the playoff committee would back-door Bama in. I thought a lot of this was a joke but I'm seeing that some of you are really that paranoid.
You guys know this is mental illness right?

Our only loss can be to LSU to still get in playoffs.

I think it would be close but being Auburn they'd totally get up for that game and beat Bama by a score or two (in that scenario).

Possibly, but LSU would have to win out in the SEC, and then we need some 2 loss conference champs in 2 other conferences and ND losing again would help. But I have seen stranger things happen in November.

I think the committee has Bama fatigue and will probably keep them out if it's close.

Let's just say it would take a LOT. I don't think 2007 would be enough.
