Alabama Defense : Garbage Time vs Non-Garbage Time (v2)

Garbage Time, as defined by SP+, is when the margin enters the following categories

+38 points, 2nd quarter
+28 points, 3rd quarter
+22 points, 4th quarter

Here are Alabama's defensive stats : In Total and No Garbage Time

- 4.77 Yards Per Play

I don’t know what the stats say and all that. But I thought Alabama’s defense was outstanding this week and looks like they’re getting better every week. Developing a little more of a pass rush now and figuring out who needs to be on the field and when.

First drive was not good. But overall A&M got bailed out by penalties that were ticky tack at best that kept most of the their good drives together. Without the questionable calls a&m probably only scores 14 yesterday

Agreed - still not great, but seem to be getting better for longer stretches and at different spots each week.

Should really be the goal to dominate the next 2 weeks and get some confidence under our belts heading into the pre-LSU bye.

LSU's O-Line is going to whip the shite out of our front 7 if they don't get better in a hurry.
