Fair enough. Or Religious institutions.
For the record, alcohol was not permitted on campus in Charleston. That doesn't mean it wasn't snuck in from time to time. Mostly for the guys restricted to campus. In 4 years, I can count on 1 hand the number of times I encountered an on campus drinking situation or someone having alcohol on campus.
The downside of this is, in my humble opinion, it's leads to lots of binge drinking. Folks thinking they have to squeeze a weeks worth of boozing into 2-3 days. That was not a healthy environment.
I think I remember that if you're over 21, you can drink on the service academy campuses (I took a weekend trip to West Point when I was a freshman, and that sticks out in my mind....)

Only time I’ve ever thrown up from drinking out in public was at the Firstie club. They can really go at it there.

when you mean “religious institutions” do you mean a private school that’s religious?
Like say maybe Wofford?
They partied.
SMU?
They partied
Also, fairly certain booze is banned on our campus too.
Even if you were of age you weren’t able to have it in certain dorms or school owned buildings
Also, the whole BYU isn’t a party school was debunked in an op-Ed by a guy who played sports there

Given my geography, I'm thinking BYU. They definitely DON'T party...

That’s not what this article says.
I know it’s deadspin and probably not on the level of us, but it’s not like this is some closed up school where everyone is drinking milk

I don't know a lot of BYU students (mostly kids of parents I know), but I do know a few grads. My limited knowledge of the situation does not line up with the deadspin article.

I would tend to think now days more of the non Mormons that go to the college party
I knew a girl who was raised Mormon at USC and quickly dropped that once she turned 18.
Maybe it’s a sign of the times
