Same here. I'll be 47 this Sept. Damn, that's depressing... I don't look forward to the big 50.

But I can retire with full retirement at 56. Started my job with the state at 26. Wife already said go for it, and she'll continue to work.

I am 52. My wife and I have 35 months left of full time work. Hopefully. Big changes for us within the next 3-4 years

#1 son will be married and moving out.
#2 son will be graduating high school
Wife will retire from her current position
More than likely sell my business
Relocation
Start up new part time in shore guide service
Wife will get part time job in new location

Maximum work week for us will be 2-3 days per week.


Relax finally. I have worked enough
