My favorite part of Bama fans is how they shite on every single tradition that isn't theirs one minute, and then try to convince others they aren't severely insecure the next.

It started because in the mid 80’s the NCAA mandated everyone have a T-style goalpost rather than the H-style. So in response LSU cut the crossbar on the H-style goalpost and hung it in the entrance tunnel so the team would still run under it. The NCAA reversed this ruling a few years later but LSU kept the old crossbar in place.
