Vols fans I have a question

Where would I find most vols fans in the state of Tennessee? I thought i would run into some in Chattanooga and was ready for some trash talk. But, never ran into any. It was a couple of dawgs fans..however.

Shopping at a Dollar General in Hamilton County and running into a fellow UGA fan in a camo hat doesn't count as "visiting Chattanooga."

Chattanooga’s Loyalty is shared among 3 States. Memphis is more and more Ole Miss. And Nashville is definitely a melting pot of all sorts of loyalty. That leaves the Vols with K-Town and the rural men and women.

Memphis is more UofMemphis, Ole Miss, and Miss. State territory than Vols/Vandy. It's not uncommon for Memphians to like UT because of UT's medical presence in the area.
Vols have much of Nashville and virtually all of East Tennessee, as well as some parts of Western NC. There are some stray Va. Tech fans in the Tri-Cities area, along with UGA/Alabama fans around Chattanooga.
Vandy shares Nashville with Vol fans, with a stronger presence in the suburbs. You are right that Vandy has more fans in urban areas while Tenn has more fans in rural areas.
Southern Middle Tennessee is full of Gumps these days. We need to team up and reclaim it. It's nasty.

I agree with everything you said except about Nashville. UT may have the plurality here, but not the majority. This city’s demographics are changing at a breakneck pace.

Nashville is being overrun by northeastern guidos and west coast hipsters. The locals are being thinned out.

Lots of UGA fans in Chattanooga. Try Big River Grille & Brewing Works or Sugar's BBQ next time you're there.
