Muschamp is building the team correctly. To compete in the SEC you better have great ol and dl plus quality depth. We now finally have that.

Until our offensive and defensive line has talented players that go to the NFL (like those 3 straight ten win seasons had) we won’t be a good team.

Had some college fb site issue their way-too-early bowl predictions and they had us going to the Gator Bowl. With our schedule I'd settle for that.

8-4 is what I'm hoping for. Would be a solid season if we can do that.

If we somehow beat Bama...watch out. And why can't we? Shocked them once..it isn't completely out of the realm of possibility we could do it again.

We'd end up losing a retarded game down the line, but still.

I'm not at all going to be surprised if we do win.
We do that kinda shite. Win that game then lose to Kentucky or Vandy.

But that team had talent, I don't see that YET.

We now have the " nfl" type players on both lines of Scrimage. We also have quality depth.

I'll wait till I see it.
So I'll go into this year cautiously optimistic.

I mean we can only do better from 7-6 right?

Welllll. With this years schedule some may see 7-6 as being successful.

I think all Gamecock fans have been indoctrinated with the " I'll believe it when I see it" attitude.

I'm still concerned with " do we have speed rushers" in the dl. Reports coming out of spring ball say Brad Johnson has really made huge improvements and is fast. With the youth in our secondary the dl really needs to get that qb on his heels.

I understand defense wins all.

But I'd also like to see a young guy come in an make in impact on O.

That's asking for a lot but even in Spurriers years we had it.
We'd always have atleast one guy come in and make an impact freshman or sophomore year. I'm talking put up big stats.

At Arkansas I think we have something like 9 linemen likely to come in and we are still critically short. You have to build from the ground up in this conference. It will be 2020 at least before we are back up to being competitive. Muschamp is doing good work to make sure that doesn't happen to you guys.
