I listen to John and Hugh in the morning. Cannot listen to the front row. Holy crap does Sandra Golden and Steak annoy the piss out of me.

Then at Midday I can do either Rick and John on 92.9 or Domino and Chellini on 680. Domino is great during baseball season!

I love me some chuck and chernoff. Chuck is the best at college football hands down. The producers Los and Hoytt add the immaturity the show needs. I’ve had several laugh out loud in my way home. Especially with the audio fun bag.

My gripe with 92.9 is their damn commercial breaks. They are frequent and like 10 friggin minutes. I don’t feel like 680s are that long.

Also 680 doesn’t play that damn 1877 Kars for Kids commercial that makes me want to jam nails in my ears. That song is why serial killers are made.

well, I take it back.

Chuck and Chernoff just had a New Orleans personality on the show today and they gave him absolute hell...and it was fantastic. they just trolled the shite out of that guy

It has its black holes. Was in mableton yesterday and it was getting stepped on. Also for whatever reason it cuts out at 285 and camp creek.

60 miles north of atlanta, it works in sunshine only.

Rainy day: sucks
Near power lines (which follow roads): sucks
Sundown/sunup: sucks.

No issues with 92.9 up here.

I've got buddies in sales at 680. I know all about FCC.

Hugh is probably the most entertaining personality in atlanta. He can laugh at himself when he screws up. When someone talks for 4 hours a day 5 days a week, that can be quite often.

yeah, they keep playing Hebert clips which were awesome, but it was either the Saints beat writer or a New Orleans sports talk guy that they had an agreement with where, win or lose, he would call in the day after to discuss the game. I was amazed and amused at how brutal they were with the guy in a live conversation lol. i think they are about to do a replay of that convo right now.

Can't remember his name, but I think I recall them saying he does Tulane basketball games.

the 680 signal sucks

They have an FM signal

Hugh Douglas is a win

To each is own but the guy can barely put a coherant sentence together.Brian Finneran has better insight into NFL and CFB and is a much smarter guy.

680 needs to give Finneran more air time and cut down the show to 2 people.Sandra continually talks over the guy with meaningless garbage.

Finneran is a nice guy.
But he isn't entertaining.

It has been a long time since I listened to Finn, but I don't remember anything profound. He was good. And a homer. Nothing bad. Nothing special.

Finn did go on the air once either still drunk or very hungover. might have been the day after the Falcons lost the super bowl or after villanova won a basketball championship. they got some nice sound bites that are still played to this day

Far better NFL insight than Hugh Douglass and he's actually come a long way as far as the personality side.

I really don't get the Hugh Douglass "humor" and I get
better NFL "insight" on the Pro Sports board and that ain't much.

I will have to take your word for it.
In the past when he was wrong, it was usually being swayed by subjective Homer takes and opinions. But media personalities can improve. He's a bright guy, and maybe he has grown into his element.
