Dang, our offense was so predictable.
Also, seems like everyone notices how tight we play in big games. I'm not sure what the cause is or how to fix it but I hope they find a way. Maybe being counted down and out is exactly what they need.

That prediction never made any sense or had any basis in stats.
The stats said wed have pretty similar yardage and that Clemson was better at capitalizing on their yardage than us (which is what I said in my first prediction post with the stats).
The only difference was our pts per yard number was insanely low due to all the empty red zone trips and theirs was about the same as normal if not higher due to the pick 6 (7 pts on 0 yds).
The yardage numbers played out about to expectation. Not sure how those guys do their calculations but on no planet should it have said Bama in a blowout.

The opposite of rat poison. Sounds good to me.

They basically said Clemson hasn't played anyone and because their numbers don't adjust super well for opponents faced they used their own opinions to arrive at the final score's they predicted.

Which was silly because the point of comparing to averages is to remove that. It may still partially exist due to the conference in question making up their average stats against that weak conference, but not enough to sway things that much.
They just went with a hunch. That's fine, but it wasn't stats driven.
