The whole thing was a commercial for the 8 team playoff. Not one guest/ Disney employee had a differing opinion about it.

I'd prefer TJ 3 hours a day rather than this tripe.

This reminds me of a documentary I watched on the Black Death when I was 9. It had a scene with flagellants marching through a French town stricken with the plague that terrified me.

I am still scared of it now.

Thanks.

They (those with teams that didnt/dont make the 4 team grouping) will always scream about the current selections being unfair and it will continue until there is a 130 team play off.

Imagine a true play off in just 8 games.
Round 1 - 65 games with single elimination
Round 2 - 1 team draws the bye and goes to round 3 64 teams play in 32 games
Round 3 - again the 1 team bye draw and then 32 teams in 16 games
Round 4 - as before 1 team bye 16 teams in 8 games
Round 5 - same with 8 teams in 4 games
Round 6 - the tension amplies with 1 bye and 4 teams in 2 games
Round 7 and the fans are crazed, the end is so near - 2 teams and a bye
Round 8 - one final game between last week's bye team and the winner... True National Champion from a true competitive tourney....
Next year should be easier, since many schools will quickly quit football because the revenue drop will be so drastic, they can no longer pay their related expenses.
Pluses - Students will now be able to concentrate on school and prepare for life without football (NFL will disvolve for lack of quality replacements, etc, etc) and everyone wins - within a few years football dies BUT we had a true Champion that was from a truly inclusive field that was fair and made room for all including Central Florida... I rest my case, convince me I am wrong... downvotes begin in ./3 2 1

Cold blooded analysis says 4 team po is 2 too many...7 of 10 blowouts..1 and 2 seeds blowing out 3 and 4s.. projected for 18

8 is ok. Not much chance of a team outside what the obvious top 4 winning except occasionally. But this year's Georgia team would have a decent chance. And generally speaking a deserving SEC team could be squeezed out with 4. And maybe a B1G school very rarely. But if cannon fodder is needed then cannon fodder America will get.

Problem is the talking head agenda is bogus as a $3. bill. They go off in their anti-big school conference rants like all the little liberal snits do. And than renounce their history of support when they are exposed. This ain't hoops where it only takes five, actually maybe fewer than that. Football takes an army and a strong general heading a strong staff. A rare ambush will take place but it won't happen 3 times in a seeded tourney of 8 vs 1 etc.

the best of Pawlll? is that like 4 hours of dead air?
I get to listen sometimes when I get home early and seems like one of the regular callers is calling to "quit the show for good" and it never fails next time I tune in, the quitter is right back on. That dofus from Tuscaloosa seems to quit or get banned every day, only to come right back. I do like some of his interviews but listening to all the crybabies and their rants is just too painful and makes it impossible to listen for the interviews...

Every football team at every level in every division from high school to NFL has an actual playoff. Except for the BCS where it’s just too difficult to figure out.

Let that sink in.

Those callers are on the payroll. That is why they call in so much.
