Auburn great Frank Ford has passed away

One of my all time faves. A 6’4” player who had a great midrange and around the basket game. Gone way too young . Played from ‘83 through ‘87. Played on 4 NCAA tourney teams and in 129 games in his career. Only link I have is AU BB IG page here LINK

Damn. Bummer. That was a helluva team we had with Gerald White, Frank, Chuck person, Mike Jones, Chris Morris, Jeff Moore.

Damn, my uncle was friends with him in college. He always talked very highly of him and had great respect for him. I never knew who he was until I got into sports later on and read some stuff about him. Seemed like a good dude. Prayers for him and his family.
