I was positive of this until an Ole Miss fan literally shamed and rebuked me for saying Coach Werner's wife is an Ole Miss alum. I mean he went ballistic about how she's dead and how disrespectful it was to mention her. I was heavily questioning whether I'd imagined he was remarried or something.

He also had a fit that we call him Coach Werner. Said we should just refer to him as Werner bc he isn't our coach. (I assume he was implying that he'd eventually end up back at Ole Miss.) Weird arse thing to melt over.

His wife is from Oxford, and her entire family lives there. I could definitely see them returning in the future, but I think he is content for the time being here on our staff with his salary and responsibility he has.
Definitely. He's still relatively young too I believe so I think he could have longer than a few years before retirement. He's a great guy and a dang good QB coach. I wish him well.

Definitely re-married. Sounds like that particular fan was a little bitter.

Werner is 59, FWIW. Definitely on the down swing of his career. If he can give us two more seasons, I will be 100% satisfied.

he's 59

wouldn't call that "relatively" young in today's coaching world.
Especially when our OC is 34 and DC is 37

You will sing a different tune when you're in your 50's.
