What Bill Clark has done at UAB is amazing.

It's one of the best coaching jobs I've ever seen. Clark and Neal Brown are both destined for big time jobs.

If USA ever can get foothold in Mobile, the talent on the Gulf coast is rich. Mobile Baldwin area is 3rd in NFL produced per capita.

I’m shocked at how few Mobile guys end up at Bama.

Seems like the area used to produce blue chip top 100 guys all the time during the Saban-LSU/Tuberville-AU era.

Plenty of talent is still there, Saban burned a few bridges in the area the way he handled the Vigor kid a few years back. Florida has a nice pipeline in Pritchard/Theodore areas. Michigan has been trying to make inroads in the area also. Quietly Harbaugh has been cultivating relationships along the Old Shell rd pipeline.

Nice to see UAB as the top team in the state. #1 is irrelevant til they follow the same rules as the other 4. I see now why Bama try to get UAB shutdown before.

Then you can just imagine what karma is headed Bama's way. Your fanbase will be a war zone itself from not being able to handle probation and/or losing. Half yall won't survive. The other half will be locked up for shooting someone, tearing up something, or threatening to kill Bama players.

The way Saban did Darius Philon was a turnoff to a lot kids and coaches. He ended up becoming All-SEC and a NFL player while Saban gave away his scholarship to some out of state scrub who never contributed. Asking a kid to grey-shirt a week before signing day is low especially if after the kid committed he didn't take any other visits.
