TV Times are something I enjoy seeing, I will be at every State game regardless so this does not affect me. However for some I know this can be a delbreaker. Below I will give my predictions for Mississippi State's remaining schedule:

Florida: 6:00, ESPN, I know a lot of people are surprised I did not go with MSU-UF. And it is not on MSU it is actually on UF losing to Kentucky, Since this is not a ranked matchup, CBS is going to elect to go to Athens for the Tennessee-Georgia game since that is a traditional game they do.

Auburn: 2:30, CBS, I think this is also another reason why CBS is not coming to UF is because they will be coming for the Auburn game. The only ranked matchup for this week and it will be a top 15 at worst matchup. And if College Gameday does not go to Blacksburg Virginia for the Notre Dame- Virginia Tech game, they will be in Starkville. Root for one of those or both teams to lose and lets get Gameday back in Starkville!

LSU: 2:30, CBS, A top 15 matchup between Mississippi State and LSU or #1 Alabama destroying a terrible unranked Tennessee team on the road? That is literally the only games this week. Yes I know in previous years they have favored UTK_UAT. But keep in mind there was no competition for that game. Like there will be this year. Plys they have been willing to not show Alabama-Tennessee if a more compelling matchup exists like this one.

Texas A&M: 6:00, ESPN, I expect a night game for this game. I am not sure if A&M will be ranked at this time but I think State will be. Should be a fun game. CBS already has picked UGA-UF for this week so we will not have to worry about CBS.

Louisiana Tech: 3:00, SECN, I could have said 11 am here. It was between us and Charlotte and Tennessee. I figured since State is actually a relevant program that we end up at 3:00. Not much to say here. When you play a NC opponent this late in the season, do not expect a prime time game. I am not scrutinizing this game at all. This is a great game to have at this point so that we are not playing just 8 straight SEC games. CBS will be having their annual night game of Alabama @ LSU this weekend.

Alabama: 2:30, CBS: I will admit this one is a hunch. With Auburn's loss to LSU this weekend this makes this prediction a bit easier to say. SO yes Auburn at Georgia is the other competition this week, But if State-UA is undefeated coming into this game then this is the CBS game. If I am wrong then it is not. Plain and simple. And no I do not expect Alabama to lose before this game. However. Their trip to Baton Rouge the weekend before just got 10x more intresting now didn't it?

Arkansas: 2:30, CBS: Yeah this one is a stretch I know. But this week is weak like usual. Here are the only other 2 conference games: Ole Miss @ Vanderbilt, Missouri @ Tennessee. Maybe they pickup Missouri @ Tennessee but I am not sure either team will be good enough for CBS to pass up going back to MSU. CBS picked State-Arkansas last year in a similar scenario in which State was good and Arkansas sucked so I do not think there will be much of a difference here.

Ole Miss: Thanksgiving, ESPN, 6 or 6:30(I do not remember), I am perfectly fine with this game never being played on Thanksgiving again. This was a Stricklin move and I am sure we will not have to deal with this again under Cohen. I checked and of the entire weekend, the Egg Bowl was only the 12th highest rated game of the entire weekend. More people watched Arkansas-Missouri than they did MSU Ole Miss. No one wants to watch a CFB game outside of the southeast when the NFL is on. And no one wants to attend the game when they can spend time with family on thanksgiving. It is a lose lose for everyone and I hope next year in Starkville we will be playing on Saturday. I do not care if we have to play at 11 am. We will have more fans then we did last year. Absolutely a pathetic showing last season.

I agree. I hate the game being on Thanksgiving.

Agree that Thanksgiving needs to go.
When it was the one and only game on that night , it was great. But now the NFL has greedily stolen that time slot when they already had the afternoon.

Also in general, the weekday games are horrible, especially Friday night. Really, college games on Friday?
But mainly, when the Thursday games first started, they were an event. It was the one and only game on period. Now the NFL has greedily started playing a game on Thursday night and we have numerous college games on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday so it is all watered down now.

So ESPN really ruined a great thing. When it was one Thursday night game a week , wow that was fun. Everybody was watching that one game. Boom that was it. Now it is blah.
