Its hard this time of the year, baseball is over and we all wait for the premier sport to come back.
Well, basically we are two months or so away. Cheer up my reptile friends...its not far off.

Mullen is a breath of fresh air. I feel like Andy Dufrane after he escapes
Mac and Nuss had a complex playbook for the players but simple for DCs.

Only 1 month till start of fall practice, I'm probably a little too excited for this season!!

I am always a glass half full guy, no reason to stop now.
Hell with the QB...can we run the ball well? We cannot finish 75th in rushing. Finish a lot higher and our fortunes rise. Look at SEC stats and the top teams almost always finish in top five in rushing offense and defense against the run.
Run the ball well and your QB will always look better. Fromm was ok...but the run game allowed him to escape heavy pressure. Look at his number of attempts passing.
Teams will load up the line to stop first down runs and create 2nd and 3rd and longs.
Mullen loves to use screens to keep defenses honest. A failed pass rush leads to fewer blitzs. The whole season rests on both lines....blocking by OL and stuffing the
run by DL. I always concentrate on the lines during a game.

The Rant has so many Mullen threads its comical. Mac's first year didn't draw much attention at all.

Football will be back real soon and unfortunately ends too damn soon...I predict a 14 game schedule within a few years because of the $$$ it generates for schools.

Just bought my tickets for the season opener! Can't wait to get the season started! Go Gators! Lots of pretty good seats still available at face value thru Ticketmaster, we need to pack the Swamp for Coach Mullen's first game at UF.

I just blasted that piece of crap dawg poster ijs or whatever his handle is on the Rant....he hates us so bad it will be comical to watch us beat them...that's right Slayer, beat them! They lost their defense and underclassmen, no matter they are highly rated in high school, can replace Roquean Smith, Bellamy and Lorenzo Carter at LB. One or two injuries on the defensive side will really hurt them.
Fromm had the luxury of a high power run game and a stout defense. He didn't face many 3rd and longs and he didn't have to smell stinky cologne breathing on his arse.
Our defense can take care of him...he is a good QB as a manager....but win games on his own? No.Not yet imo.

I think the first 2 weeks of August are the hardest even tho you have already crossed most of the off season desert.
