I always claim 1 on my federal taxes. Well someone in HR fricked up and accidentally clicked the exempt button!

Unc is getting a good payday!

I have to question how you went all year without noticing the change in your paycheck, though.

Or the fact that your earnings statement said exempt and you had a fat 0 in the federal taxes section.

I saw two different Federal withdrawals on my pay checks, so didn't think much about it because I filled out the right paperwork.

Come to find out when I called HR, that is S.S. and medicare

It didn't. They were taking federal out; just it was social security and medicare
