I’m still quietly optimistic on Morris, but I’m excited about his attention to detail. I just tired of watching crap football. Hope he gets it done.

I suspect this season will be ugly, Bert didn't do the incoming staff any favors with his recruiting. That having been said I like our chances in 2019 and 2020.

I’ll be pissed if we can’t make a bowl game. People can trash the roster, but with discipline we can make a bowl.

I agree completely, but especially when you look at the schedule. This is about the best time for a first year for Morris. We have no P5 teams on the OoC schedule thanks to Michigan bailing - three G5's and an FCS. We're not as void of talent as some believe, we should have four wins right there. Then we have Ole Miss at home who lost Freeze and has NCAA trouble. Then Mississippi State who just lost their greatest coach ever and was replaced by a no-experience assistant. We get Vanderbilt at home. Missouri should be shite for the third year in a row, I don't know why or how we keep losing to them.

If we can't get six wins out of that, I don't even know what to say. We have to have highers standards for our football program if we want to actually compete in the SEC. Not saying we will or should win all eight of those games, but those teams are about as manageable as could be reasonably expected.
