I know Jeff Long never would have but I've got to hope the new guy has the balls.

Last night was the worst basketball game I've been to in 20 years based on the talent we have and how we played.

Mike is possibly the worst coach in the league, easily bottom 3-4. He gets treated like a rookie HC by officials. The team quit on him last night and it's like he doesn't even care.

At what point is it enough? I don't give a frick about next years recruiting class, it doesn't make two shits when you're HC is garbage.

Think it would be a mistake to fire MA this year even if they don’t make the tourney. Now if they don’t even make the NIt, than bye. Standard for 2019 would be NCAA tourney or fired. Why? Roster numbers and recruiting.

We’ll find out at some point this season that Long gave Anderson a $20M buyout in his latest extension.

The Demozette will have their lawyers look over it, and claim it’s only $2M.

Sauces will claim it’s $5M.

I’m actually it will be eleventy trillion.

I'm as fond of Mike as most anyone could be and I'll be sad it didn't work out but with this team and THEY didn't make the tourney? I'd have a hard time thinking firing him was wrong.

I really wish he could be a part of the university in some capacity but dang something has to give.

I know the fans always think they know more than the coach blah blah, but last night everyone was asking why we're not playing zone b/c our D is horrendous man to man and Mike just refused to make adjustments. He consistently gets out coached, it's to frustrating to care about anymore for me. I guess when the fans turn apathetic as we did with Bert we'll finally fire his arse

Watters looked like Steph Curry last night. He could get anywhere he wanted on the floor.

It's like Mike had no clue he was their best player. We looked completely unprepared for him

Pretty much all of this. The last three games have been hideous. Moo State, despite their gaudy record, doesn't seem to be that good and the loss against Auburn wasn't as close as the score made it out to be.

Stretches of bad games happen, but it seems like every year, like clockwork, MA's teams suddenly collapse for no apparent reason. We were playing for a very good shot at a 3 seed. Now we are hoping we land a 9 spot and a second round match up with a number 1 seed.

I suppose the only bright spot is that we aren't alone, A&M has caught fire, rolled over, exploded, and sank in conference play.

What worries me is that it is starting to look more and more like a what could have been season.

As an AU + Georgetown fan, seeing LSU pull Waters than have him excel just hurts

I don’t think ChexMex will fire him after this season, regardless of how bad we finish. I think he gives Mike 1 year, with JCP bird dogging Mike the whole way through.

Help us, JCP.

How sweet- but Watters didn't make us suck from the 1st second the game started last night. I'm concerned with our team.

I don't know what's going on with him and Macon. I really don't know. They're so much better than how they've played so so so much better.

I thought you and Barford had a thing before this Pat Bradley romance kicked up.
