Let me say this:
It’s not your damn money that is being tossed around.
Your pennies that/if you’ve donated has already fell through cushions of the GOBN’s couch, that’s located down at the duck club just East of Stuttgart.
Your fake outrage over what it’s going to cost for us to get back to winning is too funny. You have all become business/financial advisor experts all of a sudden.
Jeff Long was paying a coach over $4 million dollars a year to average 1 SEC win a year.

PIgfeet I like ya bro, but wtf has Gus done as a Head Coach and to be able to demand such a big salary as a consistent underachiever? We could similar results from him or better at half the price with Mike Norvell.

as long as the costs don't affect me I really don't care. paying that much for gus is dumb and adds a lot of expectations to the job.
just as Bielema had expectations with his. at 6mill I expect to win and win big games often.

I think this is the sentiment of most fans with the exception of the small portion of the fan base that absolutely hate Gus.

If Petrino was still here he would be making well over 5.
We'll get Gus for something like 5.1, 5.2 without paying Auburn much at all. That's incredibly a bargain for what he's accomplished in the SEC.
