Is Tennessee more of a Michigan or straight up Nebraska?

Like, do they have legit hope of returning to glory, or is the glory in the history books?

More like vandy. Going winless in the conference

Hard question. There just isn’t enough recruits to go around in their zone. UGA, AU, Bama, and CU are getting first dibs in ATL. I think that is more of an issue than UT fans will admit.

From a program standpoint, they are definitely similar to Nebraska. The only difference is at least Nebraska has the best football program in their own State.

I don't get the Nebraska comparisons. Knoxville isn't in the middle of nowhere. Recruits from the south can have their families easily attend games.

Very similar to Michigan when you compare entire histories imo

Closer to Michigan. They were good through out the 20th century (lots of national and conference titles). Then they began to fall apart in 2000's (like Michigan).
There's still hope to comeback since the population in states Tennessee recruits are increasing, while most Midwest states are losing population.
Sun belt is easier to recruit from for Tennessee than it is for Nebraska to recruit in the Rust Belt as well due to no one watching Nebraska much until they joined big 10. Tennessee meanwhile is viewed as a big school to go to compared to others in their region

In what way? Michigan has 11 National Championships....Tennessee 4. Seems like a pretty big difference to me.
And, no....I am not comparing Georgia to Michigan OR Tennessee. I'm just surprised you are comparing Tennessee to Michigan.

Neither.
Those two own Florida
Tenn will never own Florida.
They are like Arkansas now
