Things are only beginning for downtown Bentonville. I wish I had invested in that zip code about 10 years ago. These people will likely spill over into Fayetteville, too. There is still some unrealized potential downtown.

Today is Mike Robertshaw's last day of work in Seattle. Over the course of a decade, the chef has become something of a fixture in the Seattle restaurant community, and Robertshaw says that his departure is "a little bittersweet," especially in light of the fast-approaching Pacific Northwest spring bounty. But he has a big move ahead of him: Mike Robertshaw is heading to Arkansas.
More specifically, the chef will work with a new hospitality group "focused on redeveloping downtowns with iconic restaurants, entertainment venues, art houses, and private clubs." And RopeSwing, the boutique group that convinced Robertshaw to step away from his post in Seattle, is starting its work in a town uniquely ready for a new breed of restaurant options: Bentonville, in northwest Arkansas.

Didn't SunHog mention something about the Walton grandson's doing something similar to Ben's Apartment in the old church downtown?

Just saw that on reddit. Bentonville is getting a lot of good restaurants.

Its kind of awesome, but also I'm jealous as hell.
Bentonville has done in five years with their trails and downtown development what it took Fayetteville 20 years to do. If you've got the money, you can do anything.

My wife is the office manager for the company that is renovating the Sanctuary (Belfry & Old 71 Club).
They have spent many millions on that church and it is top notch. They also did Phat Tire, Pressroom, Tusk & Trotter, and are currently designing and building the space next to the Mustache store that will be an old school feel British pub I believe. Night life will be much better in the next year or 2.

If someone could put all of this together in a document that I could present to my wife as reasons why we should move back, I would greatly appreciate.
TIA

Yes, some of it. Its a small firm with 1 main architect and a couple of interns. They use 709 designs for some of their interior design work though.
