Would Damontre Moore have helped the 2013 A&M defense?

Total 2013 production from defensive linemen:
234 tackles, 24.5 TFL (11.5 sacks)
Damontre Moore's 2012 stats: (left after his junior year)
85 tackles, 21.5 TFL (12.5 sacks)
Relevant because Myles Garrett and a 260 lb. Daeshon Hall are both more talented than Moore.

a player like that would help any college defense
Especially the worst in the conference

All A&Ms opponents dying in plane crashes couldn't have helped A&Ms defense.

Pretty much this.

I was actually considered making a thread on this when someone (was it you?) who made a comment about it. I would think it would help almost any defense, not just ours.

A group of Pop Warner bench warmers would be an improvement over the 2013 TAMU defense.

Further illustrating my point.
Julien Obioha, as a freshman SDE, had 25 tackles, 1.5 TFL (1.0 sacks) and 1 FF.
As a sophomore playing RUSH END (out of position), he had 38 tackles and 5.0 TFL (1.0 sacks)
Obioha is back at SDE with Hall and Garrett at weakside rush end.

a blind man would have helped our D last year

Don't get me excited.

The point still stands. Losing a pass rusher like Moore gave opposing QBs a ridiculous amount of time in the pocket and allowed their lines to double team our overmatched freshman DLinemen, leading to gaping holes in the front seven. This in turn put pressure on an already shaky group of safeties, exposing Matthews, Raven, and Honeycutt for what they really were.
