I attended a coaching clinic at MSU Prescott's freshman year...actually I think he was an early enrollee and he had just gotten to campus. Freakish size and strength but as far as the QB position he was pretty raw. From what little bit I saw of him this season he looks to be improving. he has Ryan Mallett like arm strength with MUCH better athletic ablilty. Precision will be his biggest issue. Seemed like a good young man. Best of luck to him.

At least we don't grind on little boys like they do at Penn State, Spank.
If you actually think he's a Penn State fan then I am disappoint.

I look at Prescott like this:
Mullen's teams always are better with a mobile qb. The last one we had was the worst passer in the conference. He won nine games in one year at MSU. Not bad right? Prescott is a more elusive runner, he is faster, and he is more accurate. LSU offered him. He is a great looking athlete and I have no reason to think he won't do well.

Yeah you're right I guess. He didn't play that much his freshman season.

Well it's the truth unless you think Mullen makes the switch which, considering how he likes upper classmen just like Cutcliffe, doesn't seem likely.

Well no matter what, he'll most likely have two full years as a starter. He will have more pt next year I'm sure and will get another season of getting better at pre-snap reads and if Russell goes down, he's the starter as a sophomore.
