Injoy a good year for him. The win-loss record will be much better this year than last year for sure.

I would like to see more downfield balls from him. I heard Drink on 810am last week mention that he was coaching conservative last year.

It will be interesting to see the depth chart for sure. I really hope we stay away from a QB by committee situation.

That was quick. I think Drink wants to start fast this year.

I’m hoping for the best. A successful campaign from a St. Louis true son would be amazing for the brand.

Definitely won’t be the last time I say this… Let Brady Cook

Cook was the heavy favorite, IMO. No surprise.

2021 QBR for returning SEC starters:

1. Bryce Young - 87.6
2. Brady Cook - 87.4
3. Stetson Bennet - 86.7
4. Hendon Hooker - 77.9
5. Will Levis - 76.8

Safe to say that Brady Cook should easily surpass Bryce Young and probably win the Heisman now that he has more elite talent surrounding him?

Cook must have been the clear guy for a while now. Good more time with first team reps.

I figured it would be him. Macon would have had to close whatever gap existed between them that gave Cook the bowl start.
If Drink's perceived gap after Cook to QB2 is small, he should be aggressive in playcalling.
I want to see the offensive playcalling we expected when Drink was hired.

I just hope Tyler Macon doesn't transfer. I like Cook but they need to mix up the looks here and there with Macon.

My guess is that Drink pulls Macon aside and says look, I know you want to transfer since you didn’t make the starter but if you hang on you might be a stater on an injury and I won’t play you just for downs to waste your eligibility. That way he can preserve his season and transfer and stay as a back up as long as needed.

We have Cook and Horn this year. Then add in Gebarri Johnson next year.

Most likely Nacon transfers
