With UTEP to the SEC, B1G announcing bid to add the Real Varsity Blues

With the announced addition of UTEP to the SEC, B1G commissioner Kevin Warren announced the B1G will add the University of Toronto in 2023. The Varsity Blues are AAU and will help strengthen the B1G's hockey domination to make up for their lack of success in sports played in warmer climates. Many were caught off guard but one observer noted the B1G added Rutgers to claim the first football game played, with another historic football program nobody knows about.
"We can't break into the South and the SEC's intent to add UTEP just strengthens their hold on crossing the border in the next few years" said Warren. Since Toronto has no current media deal they would join quickly and a partnership with Rogers Cable is expected if they can secure the rights to Dryden, ONT and the roughly 8,000 people there.
