They’re similar to 10erC. Close to Appalachia, married to or in relations with sister/ mother, 500 miles away from the nearest dentist.

Much better program than S Carolina - they should have been in from the start anyway

Maybe. But they're also a bunch of &^$$![$ and didn't leave the ACC with South Carolina when they had the chance. If they would have, they wouldn't be crying now. EFFem.

Clemson would be a solid middle-tier team in the SEC.
It just doesn't offer much demographically or TV market-wise.

So why are they so afraid to leave the safe confines of their cushy little cupcake conference?

When Clemsuck's booster program started it was (and still is) called IPTAY, which stood for I pay $30 a year. But since Clemson was an Ag school they could pay in all sorts of things, like produce. So SC fans started calling it, "I pay taters a year."

A coot is a type of ground dwelling waterfowl in the Rail family (Gruiformes). I guess some sheep molester thought it looked like a fighting rooster. They aren't very smart so it's understandable.

I've never like the term "coot"...I prefer Dirt Peckers and I call UGa people Butt-Sniffers

Clemson comes into the SEC, starts losing 3 games a year, Dabo leaves, they stay at 7 to 9 wins.

The "huge" TV ratings for UGA/Clem, Bama/Clem, Tex/Clem are no higher than any other SEC games featuring those three schools. We now have two schools in a tiny state.

I am telling you, Clemson stock is high due to recency bias. Putting Clemson in now is like buying Bitcoin at 65K. Their value will only go down.
