What's hilarious is that you actually think Alabama fans are "mad" over this hire.

As a Tiger fan, I certainly do not think that Bama fans are mad over this hire. However, I don't think anyone with half a brain would deny LSU will be better in the next few years than they have been with the previous two morons. This hire is going to make life harder for everyone in the west. But I don't think Nick Saban is shaking in his boots either.

How does this make LSU better? This may be the new normal for you all.

To be fair, outside of the NFL.... Has anyone really made Saban "quake in his boots"? It's kinda the nature of the GOAT to bend everyone over after they smack talk. They might get a slug or two in or trip you up, but in 10 fights you'll tear them to shreds 9/10 times.

Nick Saban is picking out places for where he wants to retire. Bama squeaked through the west in a down year with REC help and are about to get embarrassed by Georgia. Plus another loss in whatever meaningless bowl they make.

Saban knows that LSU has a real coach now and they are about to run shite.

Probably the best reach for sanity I've
seen on this board since Kelly grabbed the cash.
Personally, I think Woodward made a safe hire as
far as name and one that will at least have moderate
success---but build a high level consistent program remains to be seen. It's a huge transition from
running a successful Notre Dame, to the SEC.
