Did Kearis Jackson get injured?

Read that he may have a rib injury. Hope it’s not severe.

He did and was out for the game but haven’t heard what it is and how bad.
It never made sense to me him coming back from an injury still fielding punts but not playing slot earlier in the year. Never loved him on PR anyways.

Thank goodness for McConkey. He fills in well at the slot and punt returns. That kid is not very big but he can play.

“… Jackson left the game in the first quarter with a rib injury he suffered while returning his second punt. He did not return.
“I thought he was going to be able to go back. It’s a little bit of a rib injury,” Smart said of Jackson. “I don’t know how different it is from the one he had from a while back. I asked him, and he said it was pretty painful. I didn’t think he could go, so held him out at that point.”
Hopefully just precautionary.
